Some had pretty nice rooms as well. Maybe this guy didn't live with his parents.

In retrospect it was very unusual for a gravure idol at the height of her popularity to do something like this. Definitely a big step up from "LOOK GUYS, I HAVE A NINTENDO. I'M ONE OF YOU!" and I don't think many idols would do this today.
