Fuck they must really want us dead are we just talking an enemy death squad or an actual brigade? If it's the later fuck it my wife is going to have to planeshift us. If it's the former then we might stand a chance. Also are we facing medieval knights or modern paramilitary forces?

Mermaid is going to be dead weight. I don't think her charm song is going to work at their level. Hand her a gun and tell her just to fire in their direction. Suppression fire if nothing else. Next weak link is myself, realistically I own a rifle and have served so it wouldn't be the first time. That being said, I was nothing special. If we are just playing fantasy I would love to learn magic and would wield it as well as firearms. Ushi's are stupid strong and regenerate. Put some Kevlar on her if we are facing guns, metal plates if its just melee weapons, and she should be fine. I hate to say it, but my wife has the best chance of pulling us through. Assuming anti-magic isn't employed she should be able to send something nasty their way, detonate their explosives, or worst come to worst teleport us away.
Even if we win this is going to suck.
