How old is anon and when did you get into this shit?

I am a balding slightly tubby '42' year old (Yes you read right) who only got into this kinda thing about 20 years ago when I discovered anime. Since then I have not been serious about it. I only got a bit more interested when I discovered free anime fansubs online and then from there to places like 4chan when it was a 'small' website. Back then places like /b/ moved a lot slower without posting limits like it has now. Also I have seen 4chan die a couple of times lol. Anyhow now I can't get away from it and went from having a well paid job to having no job and sitting around on my fat ass all day mostly looking at this site and collecting anime fansubs (I need to actually watch more of it and stop collecting it). I would love to visit Japan someday. But only a visit mind. I have no current plans on learning the lingo apart from some basics to get by with if I visit. I hate gamers but particularly those into VN's (Touhou fags can die for all I care). I rarely leave the place I live in apart from the odd shopping trips or visiting relatives. I recently got into collecting figures on the limited money I do get leeching off the state. I am also a virgin. Oh yeah one more thing. Anime/manga and 4chan has made me into a pedo.

I wonder if anyone on this board is older than me or can top that for sad stories ;_;
