I enjoy a possessive Flandre that is near yandere levels of thinking you are hers alone.
Something like her being fine with you talking with her sister and others she trusts like Sakuya, maybe Meiling and patchy, but not Koakuma since she's a succ or Marisa since she's a known thief.
She ideally wouldn't want to hold you captive in her basement cause she knows it sucks but if you don't leave without easing her into the idea of your absence she might just throw a tantrum till she finds you again.
When it comes to how she displays her affections i think she'd be rather jaded at first in being a bit sassy and standoffish since she's not used to romantic feelings and more over very wary of harming you like you would be to a fragile kitten. She would never admit it at first but she'd want you to make the first moves in establishing skinship. Once she's figured out how strong she can be around you you'd better be prepared since she has around 500~ years of isolation and trust issues to work out.

Remember: Flan is an imperfect vampire and weak to running water.
As Flan's new caretaker you'll need to take good care of bathing her.

Step one:fill a bathtub with warm water
Step two:insert a bubble solution or other special bath bombs to entice the Flan and make her want to spend time in the bath
Step three:remove clothing from the Flan, note that she may be resistant at first. You cannot force her but you can promise cake and ice cream afterwards.
Step four:pick up the Flan and GENTLY submerge her into the bath. She will instinctively not enjoy this and the more waves you make inserting her the more fussy she'll get.
Step five:lean the Flan back letting the water soak her hair, NEVER pour water onto the Flan
Step six:scrub the Flan GENTLY ensuring there is as little splashing as possible, be sure to scrub thoroughly with a luffa or otherwise. Don't forget to lather her hair!
Step seven:lean the Flan back again letting her hair soak in the water as you GENTLY scrub the soap out, getting as little water moving as possible
Step eight:repeat step six and seven as needed to lather and rinse
Step nine:lift the Flan up SLOWLY from under the crook of her knees and curve of her back. Only after the Flan is retrieved from the bath and several feet away can you drain the bath.
Step ten:dry and dress the Flan [IMPORTANT] she will be cold, don't let her be cold.

Once you have completed all ten steps you will have one HAPPY FLAN. Congrats!
