I did it. It was worth it to chip the boss a little more. I doubt I'll finish this anyway since I probably wont make it back to that node again, and I'm 50/50 on whether I stop wasting my life on this game, never play again, and just read some manga instead. Even if I did somehow clear E3 I don't think I could do E4 with my ships and the resources I'd have left. All I wanted out of this event was to get Warspite and then I was going to stop playing anyway, or at least never bother with another event since the game just gets more boring and shittier every time.

I think I'll try one more sortie on a different routing, if I don't get to the boss node and do considerable damage then I'll just drop it there and quit the game.

If you guys want to find this even more humorous then you should know that I'm doing easy mode and that was my starter that just sank, I never got so stressed out at this game before. That's probably why I don't care anymore, I actually have got better things to do with my time.
