Here is the truth about Umineko:
upon arriving on the island Jessica announced she found the gold and they were all going to Disney world.
Someone need to stay behind to watch the mansion and Eva had already gone Disney world before so she remained on the island the other left.
Hijinx ensued and the mansion blew, she was meant to keep it safe so she kept quiet about everything that happened.
Over the years she grew bitter because she really wanted to go to Disney world again.

That's fucked, man. And after that, you try to fix your mistakes by giving this mentally unstable person the tools to massacre everyone and telling her that she's a dude. Oh, and making her think that Kinzo was a complete monster because you weren't there at the time and don't know if the story about how the italians died or how much Nazitrice loved him were true.
