It's actually in "early access" mode right now, if you preorder it you can test the prototype which they keep adding new features. There were tons of delays already and the first release of the prototype barely worked without crashing. This is one of the best from the first beta release:

Most people agree is kind of trash right now, but are hopeful for the future since Crypton will keep working on it and making updates until it's good (something they couldn't do with Vocaloid because of the license). They are currently targeting late november release for the first main release.
