What would be the appeal of Vocaloid if the idols weren't cute and/or sexy?

original chart maker here.

no, they're not going to hold up unfortunately. most of those albums on older versions (especially the ones near the bottom of it) aren't as great as i recalled them to be. I originally made the chart since there wasn't any for vocaloid music back then and it baffles me to think that people still refer to those charts. My original concept for the album was to display what albums for people to start off with. As I started listening to more vocaloid albums, I started adjusting to what I thought were actually decent albums regardless of how accessible and starter they might be at the time of listening to them. Now my taste in music is constantly changing over time. it is a bit misleading and I honestly dont know what to really do about the charts anymore. It's pretty much impossible to make a chart if one person decides what goes on there.

nobody takes vocaloid music seriously nowadays. not even //mu//. Vocaloid music is all about the singles, and for a producer to make an album is all but a luxury and/or a gimmick. times have changed.
