I have two friends. One of them I hardly ever see, despite he living on the house right next to mine. He does have a girlfriend, but for some reason he mostly stays at home, so I can't say if he's normal or not. He's very cool, but we only talk via internet.

There's another guy, but I'm not sure about him. He ONLY calls me when he needs his computer fixed, or when he wants to copy some movies/games/animes. Still, whenever he's here we have a hell of a good time, I can talk about almost anything with him. I keep offering to copy large files, hoping he'll stay here longer. Like "Hey, there's this cool anime, Steins;Gate, I think you'll like it" and then he stays more 40 minutes while I transfer over 7 GB of data through a shitty USB 2.0 connection. It's sad, because I feel used, but it can't be helped: like I said, we have a good time when he's here.

“Ugh, it’s been more than a millennium, Naz. All our treasures and stuff are likely scattered all over the world,” the girl in white says hopelessly.

“You underestimate me,” the small girl boasts, “If a treasure hasn’t been melted down or turned to valueless scarp, I can find it no matter where it hides.”

“So she says,” adds Shou in what I would consider a mocking tone. She gets no rise out of the girl, much to my disappointment. Spying is nice and all but at least make it fun for me alright?

“On the bright side,” Shou starts to smile, “I found Murasa and our ship. It’s a mess but she thinks it can still fly.”

…Fly? She said fly just now, or did I mishear? How could a ship possibly fly? Perhaps it’s merely a figure of speech.

“Excellent,” says the runt, “I might just even forgive you if this works!”

“I only did what I felt was right, Naz.” Shou grumbles, starting off down the alley.

“Yeah? Well you were wrong.” And the others follow, as do I from the shadows.

I follow them down a far more straight-forward path than I had taken to get to this point. They seem to be headed directly for Minamitsu and the underground ship. Where else would they be headed, after that conversation? I decide to head them off; a swarm of flies can move far faster than three girls on foot.
