I haven't finished the fragments/tips but Phase 1's was disappointing. It feels more like a prologue than something that could be enjoyed on its own like Higurashi and Umineko. The ending was particularly weird and inconclusive, some parts were more than predictable (the order falls apart when everyone gets a court martial, duh[/spoiler] dad makes Miyao kill an enemy knight, duh) while others were not just mysterious but nonsensical (blue Jayden?).

[by the way, should a middle-aged lady really dress like that?]
