It's pretty clear she did, when the text goes on about her remembering the blood of her mother running through her hands. Now, you can still write it off as a dream, but it's made clear within the dream she chose killing her mom.

I understand what R07 was going for thematically, but even as a dream Saikoroshi is really fucked up if you stop to think about it.

There's this anthology story with post-Saikoroshi Rika always being haunted by that experience rather than being able to use it to move on and value her life like Hanyuu intended and it feels like a more natural reaction.
