well in my theory bern is the kyrie culprit theory.
like beatrice and erika said witches are created by the union of human stories.
people quickly got tired of suspecting eva(eva-beatrice) and when they discovered the illegal actions of kyrie and rudolf they began formulating theories about them as culprits, little by little the stories became many and created bernkastle.
this explains her relationship with ange and why she want to defeat beatrice.
if the magic of rokkenjima is denied she will be recognized as the only true solution. for ange her life was ruined by the kyrie theory, her schoolmates used that theory as a reason to bully her, this explains the close relationship of bernkastle with ange and why I want to see her suffer so much.

I don't know about lambda.
if bern is kyrie then lambda could be asumu.
this is supported by the fact that in hell who lived bernkastle to become a witch a miracle saved her as kyrie a miracle killed asumu.
so rika defeated takano with a miracle, kyrie defeated asumu with a miracle
takano = asumo, lambda = asumu
but the problem that lambda is very tied to beatricie so much to know the truth and support battler during the game, so I wouldn't know for lambda but for bernkastle I'm pretty sure
