It's not as different from Gou/Sotsu as Meguri (the sequel to manga Gou) is turning out to be, but there are some big changes starting from the end of Tataridamashi.

In general, the manga focuses a lot more on a lot of time passing in both Satoko's and Rika's loops rather than the anime which made everything appear really quick and seemed to disregard the loops for character development/drama. In the manga there's much more focus on the weight of uncountable loops on the characters.
