how do you know it's bagUETTE and not BAGuette (sounds like "baggot")?
look into japanese pitch accent.
rikaisama shows what mora to put emphasis on, with 0 being the "flat" heiban accent (it's not actually flat by the way).

put in a word or a sentence and it shows you a pitch graph and lets you hear a computer voice say it with proper pitch
