Pic related, I detest those who rice their Arch install or whatever for hours on end. Besides distros with specific use cases like Tails and whatnot there is no real reason to use any other than Linux Mint, Gentoo, Debian and perhaps OpenSUSE.

I have been using linux mint for a year or two, at first there is some getting used to, but after a while you will get the hang of it. In practice this means installing it, using it for, like, two months and when you have gotten the hang of everything you make a new, clean install.
I switched from the ubuntu to the debian based linux mint version some month or two ago and have yet to even need to use the command line. Everything I need is available as an appimage, flatpak or a deb package.
