I just watched Produce48.

The judge isn't harsh. They really sucked. Misserably. Abysmally. Compared to the koreans, it was like a school festival or something. WTF.

I love my idols, but they're certainly not about... that. And that seems to be professional, or even semiprofessional, singing and dancing. They are just cute; clumsy, cute and hella funny at variety, and they didn't manage to pull out their idol charm at all (unlike, susprinsingly, Noe, who was already cringey in Japan but saved her ass through comedy).

This is a real challenge. It's brutal. The ones who make it will really have to own themselves.
