Your lack of medical knowledge is so blatantly obvious, it's fucking painful. First off, if she were to have her legs bilaterally amputated by the thighs, the resulting loss of blood would CAUSE her to go into shock. The loss of blood (hypovolemia) is the mechanism of action, whereas the (hypovolemic) shock is the resulting symptom.

Second, if she were simultaneously hanged and had her legs severed at the thighs, she'd would more likely than not die via exanguination before she suffocates. Each thigh has a very large artery called the femoral artery, which carries blood to the rest of the leg. The femoral artery connected directly to the abdominal aorta, which an artery that is connected directly to the heart and distributes blood to the rest of the lower body. Because the connection between the heart and the femoral artery is fairly direct, the walls of the femoral artery are under intense local pressure due to the fact that the blood contained within is being pumped directly from the heart.

Suffocation usually results in death in less than 5-6 minutes, whereas if both femoral arteries get severed at once, she'll end up bleeding out in less than a minute. Her blood will end up spurting out due to the pumping of the heart; The fact that her body is hung with her legs down will most likely ensure she dies via exanguination, since gravity will also help rush her blood out of her body faster due to her thighs being oriented BELOW her heart.

That's the reason why army medics are told to focus on treating massive arterial hemorrhaging in the arms/legs before treating airway compromises whenever they come upon a patient. Of course, this is all assuming her neck wasn't broken from being hung.
