Here are my propositions :
>Aya vs Hatate or just an Aya news story
Aya wants to write an article about the Taoists, but must first find her way in. Either she's in a race against Hatate to see who'll be the first to reach the dojo, or she's by herself, but she ends up interviewing the main characters because she heard they converted to Taoism, get in trouble with Nyan-Nyan, and once she finally manages to reach the dojo, the anti-youkai magic turns her back into a crow, forcing her to flee.
>Kogasa trying to scare people and Nue becoming her mentor.
Here, I'm not sure what would be the best. Either we can go straight and have Kogasa going from the local baby-sitting youkai to the prankster youkai in a boring "shoujo" way, or we can follow Warugaki's example and have Kogasa's jokes backfiring horribly, resulting in blood, pain, broken teeth, and cold blooded torture.
Or we can have Nue teaching Kogasa how to be spooky, until the karakasa notices that Nue's jokes are a bit more sinister than her own pranks. Yeah, I'm thinking Harvester here, with psychological torture and suicides.
