Anyway, I can't check the character stories but played through the event. Curiously, this is the first story that uses both tracks from the OG VN and Mei's tracks. Once they brought in the VN tracks in the 1.5 anniversary they had completely dumped Mei's soundtrack from New stories.

Anyway, basically, there's an idol contest in Okinomiya, Rika and Satoko win, and Rika decides to leave to become a professional idol. Aside from wanting a new world outside of Hinamizawa, as an idol she'd have media attention and would be safe from any conspiracies. Satoko rejects going with her though and they have their departure at this point. She promises if Satoshi returns though, she'd give her all to follow Rika. Rika became a famous idol, but she was actually taciturn and sad. It turns out shortly after she left a Great Disaster happened in Hinamizawa and everyone died. Rika says this isn't the future she wanted. Then she wakes up back in 83. It was just a dream? She doesn't go to the contest this time, and rather than that drags Satoko to St.Lucia, and we return to Mei's good ending St.Lucia, where Rika is telling the council president about that dream and why she didn't become an idol, the president questions her choice and soon Satoko interrupts both and they leave.

Really feels like one of those events that are incomplete without character stories. There wasn't even an idol Satoko at all.
