I really liked it. But I think I truly did because of the cast. Cyber Sleuth starts with a mystery of those Eaters roaming around attacking people and digimon alike. Digimon being something people don't understand what they are nor why they are there in the beginning. VR internet is already common but there are areas they stay away from
The MC and friends were trying to check out one of them out of curiosity, then they get attacked by an Eater and everything starts from there. It builds up slow because the MC becomes a Cyber Sleuth so he starts solving simple jobs like searching for a cat before then ending up invading a hospital database learning the people attacked in the digital world are rendered comatose IRL. The more they progress the more the digital world gets involved
