Also it wasn't really a scandal, by any means; just a heel turn of her chara. Milky, her role model at the time, has been behaving shamefully for years (allegedly having actual scandals as well) and they not just let her be but even made Warukii for her cause they know her chara sells. AKBINGO gain a lot from letting Komi shame herself, cause now she's one that can be bullied regularly to crack some laughs at, knowing that no one will protest cause she obviously got it coming; it also has given chances for others girls to shine at her expense indeed, but not in an unfair way (best example is Chiyori, who has slowly gotten some dignity back thanks to her rivalry with her); in any case, even if your korean Nana theory was true, she wouldn't have benefited at all from Komi's failure because she was not a menace to begin with... not even a musketeer, if you get what I mean (if anything, the dark forces should be sabotaging Miki, Mako or even Tano instead); Komi and Nana aren't at the same level at all; their rivalry exists only in the heads of /akbg/ because of the Joker vs Batman sort of meme. Moreover, in the end it can be actually good for Komi, since people with lousy taste for fishers and such might really gather around her this time and make her rank year.
