I've had hair in my food numerous times, and I'm extremely certain I'd rather have a drop of blood, if only because at the end of the day I'd not even know, and it'd probably also be undetectable and harmless assuming the heat kills off whatever's creeping in there and she has everything checked in case of diseases.

If they go that far they'd probably pull some logic that says 'it's not personal enough/less pain implies less honesty' or some mental gymnastics to themselves, either way. Not like you'd be able to stop them.
