I didn't help either, I tried to stay quiet but I would spout "me on the left" and even stupider shit like what the HELL on other places back in the day, because I would browse /jp/ nonstop daily during my (first) NEEThood.

I thought it was hilarious. And I think janny is just an easy way to shorten janitor, though I wouldn't be surprised if someone got it from here.

"Feels guy" was definitely a meme on /jp/ before it was common on 4chan, but I don't think it actually originated here, nor do I remember the name wojak being used until later when it was more popular on other boards too. I think it must have come from a foreign language chan. Spurdo was also posted here frequently before becoming popular on other boards, I think /jp/ had a higher concentration of ESL posters from non-English speaking countries than other boards.
Wojak comes from a Polish board on Krautchan, though I've heard some say it's even older than that, at least by a year and from some Eastern European site, but still made by the same guy. It's an example on how 4chan likes to suck its own dick in creating memes but then takes things from other places.
/jp/ is also the first time I saw spurdo and also what made me go to ylilauta back when it was still worth going, and it was never for the Finns. I do think the anti-ESL obsession is a modern thing. You'd still might get shit on, but not labeled ESL like you're on trial.
I've also heard people say the original "doge" style of memes came from here but I'm not gonna try to prove that or not. I do know that I would see the ms paint "wow much win" style of memes posted here with Touhou girls way back then.

Ban hammer is a minor annoyance. But /jp/ wouldn't be the same without our ruthless janitorial overlords.

One of them banned me just for a picture even without my name. That's how mad they are. I like to think the mods and /jp/ janny sit around in a little /j/ thread or IRC discussing how to get rid of me for me good, it makes me smile.

I thought this might have been the best place to ask. About two years ago someone either was inspired to do it themselves or did it based on a request.

It was basically two pieces of art based on me and I gotta say I really like it. Mainly the second one which I will post next.
