My thoughts? I think their argument is logically valid, if Marisa is gay, and Reimu is also gay, then by conjunction introduction (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conjunction_introduction)) they are both gay. However it also seems kind of redundant because the conclusion "We Gay" was already stated as a premise by both Reimu and Marisa. I think their statements have a lot of redundancy which could be resolved if simply only one of them state that "We Gay" this because the rest of their statements can be derived from this premise alone.

Yumemi Okazaki is definitely the correct choice, she definitely can take the role of a teacher. She's a literal college professor who invented her own magic and it's even more powerful than patchouli's or marisa's magic, not only that but she's completely an outsider human so she's in the same boat as i am. Eventually i plan to become her assistant and help her conduct experiments, although i will probably have to compete with Chiyuri for recognition.
She will not only teach me to be powerful but will also teach me advanced physics and mathematics which i'm very interested in, she's definitely far behind many 2hus in terms of both power and intelligence all while being human.

Just listened to Utsuho theme today for the first time and realized the first part is stolen from Yumemi's theme, i'm somewhat disappointed but the rest of her theme is still cool.

I like to think that the PoDD cast were all 'spirited away' from Gensokyo and placed in the 'real' world. They're all human-like and don't have any weird thingies sticking out of their heads, so they'd probably blend in with modern society fairly quickly.

Maybe they're all working on a project to permanently link Gensokyo and other real and fictional worlds together. Something like CERN. A fantasy superhighway, if you will.

Yumemi would be head of research and development, with Chiyuri as her assistant. Rikako could run diagnostics. Kotohime runs security (gotta keep those pesky interlopers out) and Ellen could do general housekeeping. Don't know what Kana would do.

If Sumireko discovered her college professor was working on something like that, I could only imagine the hijinks that would ensue. It's such an obvious meet-up that I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet.

All PoDDs are wonderful.

Renko was a physics student, Yumemi was a researcher in theoretical physics. It's not clear if those times overlapped, but taking everything linearly, it's likely that Yumemi would have been banished from the serious academic community before Renko began college (if they were even at the same university).

But that's hardly interesting, so most people seem to quietly agree that the time-slowing effect of Gensokyo allows Renko and Maribel's college years to cover the events of PoDD.

ZUN probably just slapped a few cool sounding English words from a dictionary together, so the wording or order is most likely not too important

ZUN's views and comments on "Probabilities" and "Possibilities" was always of great interest to me though. He goes into peculiar dialogues about it in the Music CDs and I have always been trying to find a link between the all the probability nonsense that Renko and Maribel talk about, the science present in the background of their future setting, the work of Yumemi, and the stagnation of the Lunarians and the view of Earth being described as a land of "Infinite Possibilities."

Something is afoot here, or at least ZUN is trying to tell us something, and I plan to get to the bottom of it. I can feel it, there's some sort of big secret in between the lines of the few canon materials ZUN provides us with.
