I kept up my reps last night!

The vocabulary study took a lot longer than normal, and I was dreading the kanji study because it had like 230 due for reviews. I procrastinated and was productive in other ways, such as reading some Japanese short stories, but it was getting a little late and I wanted to finish off my alcohol. I decided to be a coward and simply skip kanji study for the day. And then around 10:30-11:00PM, I was sobering up, and thought fuck it, I'll power through them right now before midnight.

AND I DID AND I'M AMAZING AND CERTAINLY SOMEDAY I'LL GET THROUGH ENOUGH KANJI TO READ THINGS RELIABLY

I played Touhou games like crazy all last summer, and ended up being able to 1cc all of the integer Windows games on Hard (except PoFV because I never tried because I didn't like it when trying to 1cc it on Normal).

I didn't play Touhou for the longest time, and now I just started playing EoSD on Lunatic. It's weird how some parts aren't changed at all from Hard mode, but other parts absolutely tear me limb from limb.

Regardless, on my first attempt that used continues, I managed to make it all the way through the game, ending with 3 Continues used, no lives left, and one bomb remaining. I panic bombed a lot, so just a bit of practice should let me 1cc this game on its hardest difficulty. I'm excited.

I don't see how Scarlet Meister is possible to clear, though. Fucking solid walls of bullets.

Got to Mamizou's last spellcard! I had never seen her Timeout spellcard before, and I lost a life by thinking "Oh hey, there's stuff here that I can actually shoot!" and then getting instantly swiped by those green orbs that become dogs. I bombed the fuck out of the end of that spell because I was worried that I wouldn't make it to the final spellcard, but that timeout spellcard actually seems pretty easy, really. Nevertheless, I now have the last two spellcards unlocked for Spell Practice, and soon I will FINALLY take down Mamizou! And hopefully that successful run won't have as many fuck-ups as this run!
