Use continues to unlock stage in practice mode. Use practice mode to practice the later stages.
Learn to identify things you struggle with that you could get consistent at with some practice, and things you struggle with that'd take a lot of effort to get consistent at. If your goal is to 1CC, you should bomb the latter things. You'll slowly improve your bullet reading skills and muscle memory, and the things that seemed impossible will eventually become possible.
