That's because your brain is trained to draw in that particular setting, so instead of focusing on the details you end up running an automatic proccess. You have to stop taking it easy and force yourself to draw other positions until you get them right.

I still have problems too, specially when drawing a person in front view (mirroring the face is cheat mode is a no, so...)

I voluntereed to do the art for that science VN idea, but I never heard from its original poster...

if you guys ever get serious about anything and this thread is still up until morning, I'll volunteer. My art is not hugely weeaboo, but since I'm an architecture stundent I'll be available to draw the backgrounds, if anything.
