The issue is more that all the resources are in Japanese. (https://osdn.net/projects/emuera/wiki/excom)) The documentation is fine, it's just obviously not aimed at us.
It's not really all that complex, though. I wager most people just dive in and learn to understand it by playing around with existing projects.

It's finally over.
Decided to go the extra mile and add special first kiss descriptions as well, which ended up taking more time than I expected. There's quite a few things that need to be set properly to make it work right.
