A re-phrasing of my question:
How is conversation possible between two people who both enjoy the same solitary pursuit? If you are a fan of something but aren't doing anything IRL what do you possibly have to offer?
I'm only shameless when anon or in my imagination. I learned fairly early in my life that I shouldn't share my interests with anyone.
