You will stop with your Kanji deck in a few months at the latest. The reason for that being that an RTK deck is not something you can keep up in the long term. You will forget how to write all those Kanji because the RTK keywords have absolutely no basis in real Japanese and there will be no reinforcement whatsoever through interacting with the language and reading. Yes, you gained a basic sense for the structure and composition of Kanji but that's it. And that will deteriorate exponentially over time, you grow frustrated with RTK reviews and ultimately quit. Just like mattvsjapan who doesn't know how to write 事. You could have gained infinitely better results in the short AND long term had you done Kanji study built around vocabulary. You still write those Kanji but as you keep reading those words the Kanji will get reinforced just by seeing it. That is the only worthwhile Kanji study approach. Tools like Yomichan also let you add Kanji cards enabling you to infinitely expand your Kanji deck together with your vocabulary deck, while RTK is limited in scope and the community around it full of people who never learned Japanese. People who learned Japanese despite RTK are not proof for the success of RTK.

You just admitted yourself to basically knowing no Japanese whatsoever. What exactly are you doing here telling people how to study Japanese? You are an eceleb dick sucking loser who doesn't have even the most fundamental knowledge of Japanese. I wager the average people around here learned is 1-2 years and they have simply realized how difficult this language is. They don't go around showing off their Japanese skills because they know they aren't perfect and that there is years of work ahead. Your hero, Matt himself said it takes at least 4 years to learn Japanese. And did you actually listen to the people you listed? They have all invested ludicrous amounts of time into learning Japanese and it still took them years. Most of us are learning as a hobby and simply have to invest time into other things as well. Did you hear how long it took matt to do his flashcards every day? It's just stupid. Still, he has been learning for what, 7 years now? Of course he'd be proficient, as would anyone be who follows the DJT method. The thing is, this is a place where mostly learners gather. I gave the average of 1-2 years because most people who got fluent don't bother with this place anymore. And why would they anyway? This is an anonymous community of people who wish to enjoy Japanese media, not show off their Japanese skills as loser internet celebrities.
You are preaching to people infinitely better and more knowledgeable than you and that ticks me off quite a bit.
