Japanese long-eared elves have uncommonly long ears, even by some elves subspecies standards to the point where even other elves make fun of them.

One of the most common punishments Japanese long-eared elves go through is the belittling of their long ears, which will usually make an elf unused to such treatment break in tears in a matter of seconds.
