I only can speak about the performance of the doll itself. She has held up better through 8 months than my first doll, whether or not that's because it is my second go around at taking care of a doll.
Her face is so cute just to admire. Her hair is so pretty, by wig standards. Her proportions show that these artists and sculptors are getting closer to enlightenment on human proportions- girls' size 10-12 clothes don't quite fit her chest just right, but they're getting closer. Her vagina is easy to get yourself inside by spreading her legs above your head, and it's similarly easy to clean. Her gina has held up like a champ through having sex maybe 8-10 times per month. Her skin or TPE skin in general seems to pick up dark stains not so much from her clothing but just from laying about anywhere. You have to be careful about setting her on the floor or anything not pristine.
I set out to find the most realistic body for this height when I bought her, and from what I could find, AXB or whoever they really are were leading the way. That's the most important thing to me about current dolls, anyway. Realistic proportions and a wide variety of faces that match well with the body type that you want. 10/10 would buy from again, if they come out with another face soon that I love.

You've got it, the choice between getting a doll or trying to hack the normie life is a binary one. It's not realistic to expect to have a social life or a relationship when you are hiding a doll in your closet back at home. You have to put a lot of ideas about fixing your life out of your mind/on hold if you get a doll because... you will be the owner of a sex doll for as long as you own it.
