Chapter 4- Feeding your Touhou

Touhous require continuous access to food and water to stay healthy. We recommend against using dry foods like Touhou Chow- while they are nutritionally adequate, they are hard to chew and pose a choking hazard to smaller Touhous or ones that are more aggressive eaters. Touhous are usually well behaved enough to eat at the dinner table with you, and are able to digest and gain proper nutrition from the same foods you eat. As such, it is recommended you simply make extra portions of the foods you eat, and share mealtimes with your Touhous. Unless your Touhou specifically requests water in a dish, have water bottles accessible to them, and they will be able to drink from them. Straws or sippy cups are advised at first, to avoid spills.

-WARNING- UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU FEED YOUR TOUHOU CHOCOLATE. Chocolate is poisonous for numerous species of Touhou, so do not risk it. Symptoms of chocolate ingestion can range from mild stomach upset to severe internal bleeding and anal prolapse leading to death. Unfortunately, most Touhous do not find the taste of chocolate unpleasant, so it is key to supervise what your Touhou is eating, and avoid storing chocolate in areas accessible to your Touhous.
