Eliminating magic isn't the ultimate goal though. You're supposed to understand the truth about magic and learn to appreciate it while still facing reality. obstinately going full anti-fantasy is a mindset from like the first two Episodes.

You really should see both endings. The moral of Ange's story was to accept the truth but not let it run your life and the way you see the world. Even if her parents were the killers it doesn't mean Ange has to believe that they didn't love her. And even if the candy magic is just a trick, it was intended as something to bring happiness and doesn't need to be exposed. You need to see both sides before coming up with your own "truth". The Manga even shows this by having Ange explain the trick to Beato before still choosing magic in the end.

They never really explain what it is, only that it can have the same strength as the Red Truth depending on the situation

The ending of Episode 5 makes it sound like only the Game Master can use it, but that doesn't seem to be the case, since both Beatrice and Ange uses it later
