I am envious of VN protagonists.

Not because they have sex or have super powers or anything like that, but because whenever one of the girls dies, they are there, they can say goodbye. You never a VN where the girl dies off screen and you get a phone call telling you that she died.

Whenever someone important to me dies, I am never there. I never get to say goodbye them. I never get to tell them how much I love them. They are alone, at the hospital or the vet, and I only find out about it later.

Sorry for blogging, but I just found out my dog died, and I am several hours away, alone in my apartment. I feel like I should be doing something, but this was all I could think of.
