I liked Yukari until "old hag" thing ruined her for me.

Considering the "pokeverse" has pokemon in place of regular animals, Vulpix is pretty much the equivalent of a regular fox with Ninetales being the equivalent of the mythical nine-tailed fox.

So saying Yukari has a Ninetales and... whatever the catty thingie is called, in the house is pretty much exactly the same thing as saying she has a fox and a cat.
