Although the show is clearly not focused on monster girls, I strongly believe that it is (so far) a great love story between a man and a monster girl.
One of the strong points is that the monster girl isn't just a bland human girl with animal bits but an actual fully developed character that has strong monstrous personality traits.
You could also draw a parallel between the saurification from the show and incubization from MGE but that's too early to tell for sure.
Do you know of other animes/mangas/games that features prominently a monster girl even if it's not their main focus?
