Same set of reasons anyone could like anyone else. That would only explain things on an individual basis, not across the entire gamut of monstergirls. Some form of co-evolution or symbiosis would be a plausible explanation. Occam’s razor would favor human breeding/creation of monsters as some form of pro-human servitor. Making it occur in some advanced Golden Age antiquity, and having it currently forgotten in the descent to primitivism gets you an MGE-like. Just gloss over all the magic as sufficiently advanced technology, and it would be an odd strain of xenophobic fetish sci-fi. Not an unknown phenomena (cough those cringe Kzinti books cough).
