No, there really should be. Almost everything is inconsistent. I just noticed that bodied remiryas are supposed to have two right hands (see >>1210418 ). I checked some of my saved images with remiryas, and they have normal hands. Pic related. Plus there's the whole issue of them having bodies IN THE FIRST PLACE. Aren't yukkuris supposed to be heads and nothing more? And don't we already have a yukkuri remilia, that is nothing but a head? Is it somehow possible to have both; i.e. the head is the baby? But in a ton of stories and images you see babies with bodies. And there's little agreement on how cannibalistic yukkuri are; how intelligent they are; how good their memory is for trauma. Someone posted on pooshlmer (inb4everything. I only go there because there are occasionally edited yukkuri images posted that aren't on /jp/) that they're supposed to have a terrible memory, but can be traumatized for life. How does that work? AND there are stories where they forget the trauma. i.e. the one with bulldozer genocide to clear a path for construction, and they have the sole survivor run off to tell everyone to stay the fuck away. They all forget in a month.
And then the bulldozer. And the factory. And the tazers. And the nuclear waste. (and the MEN). Is this even gensokyo anymore?
THAT is why I think there should be canon.
