/jp/ was the best thing to happen in a long time. /a/ was nearly unbrowseable leading up to the split, and afterwards it simply dived headfirst over the edge. I'm glad that moot salvaged what he could and placed it on this board, even if his original intent was to make us the trash heap. While it doesn't match them in content, /jp/ captures the atmosphere of the /b/ and /a/ that I used to enjoy so much. Things are well-paced and easygoing. It's the perfect place to kill an hour or two, without worrying about your thread vanishing. There is apparently lots of drama over Hello Project crap, but I don't care about those threads, and I'm not dumb enough to fall for troll posts about females, so overall, I'd say that /jp/ is a solid board with a decent userbase. Us and /g/ are probably the only good boards left.
