The complaints with Bern were primarily because removing her breasts was just a blatant attempt at making her look more like Rika in order to cash in on that Higurashi success. Ignoring the fact that Bern's breasts are one of the things that distinguish her from her former self by indulging in the body she always dreamed of but could never have.

Really so long as neither is rendered flat I'm fine with it. There's too many instances of girls proportions being polarized, with all the moderately sized girls getting reduced to flat lolis.
