>normalfags picked on me for liking anime in the late 90s and early 2000s
>same normalfags claim they always loved it now
They did the same thing with a bunch of my other hobbies like vidya. I remember when they'd bully all us nerds because we were playing vidya on the weekends and watching subbed anime that wasn't DBZ and Pokemon. Never understood why those two were given a pass and everything else wasn't. I guess you can include Sailor Moon too since a lot of the girls watched that shit when it was on WB.

Now all these people are constantly posting memes about these topics and shitting up the hobby. They're the ones driving up the prices on old vidya games and consoles. They're the ones demanding censorship of the anime and encouraging the shitty dubs. None of them even bother to learn Japanese.

I was lucky enough to have Japanese offered as a 2nd language at my High School back in 1999. Our teacher HATED otaku shit. Probably because it made up the majority of her class. All us kids constantly got picked on. Now the same people that were doing the bullying claim they always loved those old shows. They haven't stopped bullying either. They are the same types seeking out reddit janny positions and demanding everything that allows free speech on the internet be deplatformed. They're the ones that participate in cancel culture. I hate them so much. These are the same people that made fun of us for being into computers and tech shit back in the day.

Every last one of these fags got into the hobby about the time Big Bang Theory became popular. I can't remember the exact year but at some point in my early adult life every hobby I had suddenly became cool in the mainstream. Next thing I knew all the kids that dressed like preps were wearing thick glasses and dressing like hipsters.
