Okayu Core Keeper 1/2

Okayu’s already got a lot of time in this game. She’s been playing it almost since when it first went up for early access. She wants to try and get more people interested in it, so she spends a lot of the stream explaining how things work, and trying to read the game’s English.

>Playing with Subaru
At the start of the year, the two were looking for a game they could just kind of zone out while playing together, and Okayu thought Core Keeper looked interesting, so she suggested it. It was tricky to learn at first, seeing as there’s no Japanese version, but they worked their way through, and are addicted now.

Okayu had already played quite a bit when she saw that Botan was going to stream it, and got really excited. There’s something precious about seeing her friends play games she loves. When Botan talked about playing it with NePoLaBo, she got even more excited. Why doesn’t Okayu join? Right now she’s more focused on her world with Subaru, so she’d prefer to just watch.

>Ikemen Korosan
Okayu’s always seen Korone as extremely cute, but lately she’s been seeing her as a bit of a cool Prince Charming as well. The two have been playing Apex together, but Okayu doesn’t play nearly as much as Korone, and it shows. Korone said not to worry though, and that she’ll protect her. She also saw Korosan talking about how she wouldn’t get upset over Okayu flirting with other girls, but would if somebody hurt her. When she told Korosan about how cool she’s becoming lately, she said it was probably because Okayu continues to get cuter as well. What’s with this cool dog?!

>The pain/joy of teasing
While playing Apex together, Korosan suddenly brought up her conflicting feelings on teasing Okayu. If you’ve seen Okakoro streams, then you know that Korosan loves to pick on Okayu whenever she gets the chance. She said that she loves doing this, but that she also feels immensely conflicted due to how sorry it makes her feel for Okayu. She told Okayu that “She’d never understand these feelings”. Okayu supposes that’s true, but feels like the Onigiryaa probably understand. They seem to love teasing Okayu, but are also incredibly kind with her. Maybe they understand how torn Korosan is.


>Kamikai
Okayu points out the giant bug boss, making its way through the caves again. The first time she saw it, Subaru happened to encounter it first, and was right on its course. So the first time Okayu saw it, Subaru was running straight away from it, screaming for Okayu at the top of her lungs. It was hilarious. Subaru later said that this would have been a godly stream if they had been live. They only play this together off-stream, but it’s still early access, and they might do a stream when the next update comes out.
