There is this girl I met through a friend in college, she was dating said friend at the time, originally we started talking to collaborate on visual novel project for the game development club I was in (she was a decent artist). Come to find out later her favorite KEY series was Air, huge Higurashi fan, and had a massive power level (one that even socked a /jp/ like myself). A few months pass and she ends up getting dumped by her boyfriend (he was kinda a playboy and a overachiever, he left her in the dust), and in turn I started to talk with her more and more. We started to play some MMOs together, even cybered once or twice... Most of our time together was spent online (though we met eachother in person many times prior to her break up). We did meet once for dinner, made out at the end of the evening. After that we stopped talking... Suffering from major depression, being unable to pay for another semester of college, and abandoned by my family, I move far away. It's been almost a year since then and we've talked on and off during that time, but recently we started talking again in a serious way (spent about 4+ hours today chatting and looking at pictures together, talked about Umineko). She's been single this whole time.

I'm going back to see my relatives and will be in the same area as her this Christmas. Since leaving a year ago I've earned some money, got a decent job, and joined a gym about two weeks ago with plans to lose weight.

What should I do? I really care for this girl and think she is amazing. Do I keep talking to her as much as possible and maybe ask her to dinner and a drink this December?

/jp/ can you tell me about life?

I'm almost done with my four year degree and I have no life experience (aside from working, I've had plenty of jobs ranging from dishwasher to data analyst). I want a small single room apartment, a decent car, and a simple white collar doing something where I don't have to interact much with people. Are all those things obtainable in life?
