Basically the problem is that the hints and development were all there, but everyone who doesn't like the pairing is determined the interpret them in a platonic way.

I noticed people in the first thread discussing how Beato has become "weak" in recent installments.

I couldn't disagree more, really. She protected Natsuhi with all her strength in EP5, and she was so badass in the final scene of EP6 that I couldn't stop "FUCK YEAH"ing the entire time. Why do people think Ryukishi is portraying Beatrice as weak, when EP6 was pretty much devoted to highlighting how smart and badass she was and if she were here she could solve everything?
