She can feel just as much pain as Koishi can. Her having that talisman on her forward is the equivalent of Koishi having her eye closed. Just because neither can consciously act upon pain doesn't mean they don't feel it.

I'm not sure she can subconsciously sing a song. Besides, if that icky talisman was removed for long enough, she might regain some of her previous thought. Or die again.
