Im about to start reading Umineko 5-8. It's better or worse than chapters 1-4 ?

Such a shame that this episode set such high expectations for the rest of Chiru, eh? I feel like compared to this one, Dawn certainly fell flat, and though Requiem was very well done at the core, it certainly didn't have the atmosphere or tension that End's narrative had. It was a pretty great deconstruction, none of the meta scenes really fell flat to me, and the ending especially was incredibly captivating. And don't get me started on that ????. But after setting up for 6 with what was probably one of the best moments in the series, it feels like nothing in that episode even held a candle to it.

Okay guys, a NON-BULLSHIT, NO TRICKS, NO WORD GAMES locked room for you.

A man was found with a gunshot wound on the back of his head, and the body laying face-down in his small office which was located in the room adjacent to the main room this building suite:

The door is locked with electronic keypad that requires a code to be opened from EITHER side. The window in the main room was wide open, which was noted by the police to be strange because it was late fall and it was chilly outside. The actual crime was captured by a security camera monitoring the victim's office, which showed the murderer in common clothing and hat (the murderer was either aware of the camera and hid his or her features from it's view or it was just a coincidence). The victim appeared to be at least somewhat comfortable with the murderer, but then the victim was a lawyer who often met with people he barely knew. The murderer drew a gun when the victim turned around and shot the victim in the back of the head, matching all the forensics gathered by the police. The method of murder isn't the question -- it's where did the murderer go after that? The camera shows the murder turned back out of the field of view towards the opening that connected the main room with the victim's office -- and that's it.

This bitch never did grow on me. I'm surprised she has such a large fanbase. Really, I'm glad that she's gone now, her motives were shallow as hell.

Erika reminds me a lot of the french noblewoman kind of style from the 1700s. The cake-like dress, and the over the top blue hair(many french noble women dyed their hair blue, pink, purple, prejudice against "unnatural" hair colours is more recent than you might think).

You are now imagining Erika with a posh French accent.

Guys, lets come up with some theory that is not ShKanontrice. I've unfortunately been spoiled on some parts of Ep. 6, thanks to people who don't know what spoilers are, so I think this works with that information.

Kanon is Erika. This clears up the red text, perhaps, in Episode 6. It has been hinted at before; in Episode 1 Kanon shows us that he wishes to be the hero. Japan has talked about that theory before. And Jessica does talk to him about creating a different personality. He is also a small enough build, and young enough, to fit into Jessica's younger clothes, although I'm not sure if that is said anywhere. [\spoiler]

Let's try this again, since it's late at night and I failed at spoiler tagging.

God, Erika does piss me off.

Anyway, I have a couple of questions about episode 5. I'm not completely finished, but I'm at the end of the trial. My question is, why did no one bring up Rosa? This bothered me the entire time, since Rosa did not leave to go the the guesthouse until 1am, yet Erika's entire story is set up so that the murder must happen between 12 and 1. If the murderer killed Rosa and then was not able to leave, then they too would be stuck in that room. So it still could not be Natsuhi, who was in her room the next morning . Is there something I'm missing, something to explain why this didn't come up?

Also, to the guy who commented on the picture: I never noticed the hand in the lower right corner with the blood pooled around it until now.
