Well, it sounds easy when you put it that way. I really want to tell a story that reflects my personal philosophies, but...it's easy to come up with random tidbits and scenes where characters go through emotions and other vague concepts, but it's hard to put these ideas into an actual, malleable script or storyline with cohesive events. I can really put myself in the place of characters, but I have no idea what the meat of the story should be. Higurashi is about bullying, drama, friendship, relationships, our inner demons, reality and fantasy, faith and other things, but it's also about a mysterious disease, gods, epic conspiracies, action fights, village life and time loops.

That actually sounds really cool! Do you mind sharing some more details? I don't mean to steal your ideas, I'm just genuinely curious to hear your thoughts on it.
And one more of my Rena knock-off, though I've done my best to make her stand out whilst still making her be a cutesy housewife with orange hair.
