I got asleep all the afternoon. I wake up and some games for PSP finished to download, so... pretty good so far.

Why do we exist, /jp/?

Are we only to serve as examples for other people? "This is what happens when you don't have motivation"?

Hey /jp/.
Could you recommend me a VN that'll make me feel something?
Doesn't matter happy or sad.
Not too long would be preferred, it's not like I have ADHD, it's just... everything tends to feel pointless after it goes for too long.
I did read a couple of VNs, but not nearly as much as most people here.
Thanks.

Well, yeah...

I can't really focus to read a lot of VNs. I've only read a handful since I can't stop my attention from wandering.

I think I might really have ADHD. Like, not the diagnosis kids get, but the actual condition.

What are some 'fun' games to play? I don't really care much for the genre, and no I don't consider visual novels to really be games, aside from Sengoku Rance, and while you can never have enough Rance, doing a 5th playthrough kinda gets boring.

For reference, the last game that I actually enjoyed playing was Portal (excluding Touhou and Elona). I tried asking /v/, but their "suggestions" were terrible. And while this thread probably belongs more in /v/ than here, I'm sure there must be some acceptable games that your average Otaku nerd must enjoy.

I know that this thread will probably get ignored, and considering the current trend in /jp/ posting quality (increase of metathreads, stagnant touhou threads, little or no VN discussion aside from the 'OMG I JUST PLAYED x', increase of cross board posting from /a/, and increase of tripfags) I really shouldn't expect much besides a few troll replies, but what the hell, I'm kinda feeling desperate.

So, any game suggestions?

Hey, not that rare. My sister is just like that, only she lives at home. She chose to slowly alienate all her friends 2 years ago, as she is more content with just herself. Now she just spends her days in her room doing whatever.

I know, not otaku culture related, but it does give a good idea of why modern japanese society is like a headless chicken, and without the "Japan is so weird" slant.

>The problem is that a country can only present to the outside world values by which it lives. In a recent survey conducted by Pacific Forum, an American think tank, Japanese foreign policy and opinion makers were asked to name key elements of Japan's national identity. Tellingly, the respondents could not even begin to answer, so the question had to be rephrased: How do you think other countries see Japan? The self for Japan and the Japanese is determined by what others think.

Also touches on the cultural causes of rising NEET numbers.

Another from Shirakaba. Continuing the myth of the girl gamer (According to /v/, I guess)
