A meme anime that gradually converted into a sincere one and had one of the most climactic endings in recent memory. The twist is still one my favorites, though it's impossible to describe without ruining it.

I dropped both of them at first when I felt like the jokes were getting old, but heard some praise for NS and gave it another shot. I think it's Trigger's best work to date, though the first few episodes are pretty shallow and formulaic.
